Tuesday & Wednesday 8:30 am - 3:30 pm

Friday 8:30 - 11:30 am

 

CHBT provides direct services to patients/clients seen in the STD/HIV Prevention Program of the Monroe County Department of Public Health 

All services are FREE and confidential and available on a walk-in basis to patients of all ages; parental consent is not needed for minors.

Typical Visit:

  • Patient signs in and is assigned a number for confidentiality
  • History and risk assessment
  • Exam and collection of test specimens for STD testing
  • HIV pre-test, Stage-based Behavioral counseling and HIV testing
  • Hepatitis A, B and HPV vaccines
  • Test results, treatment and referrals as needed
  • HIV transitional case management
  • Partner services

Additional Services:

  • Pregnancy testing and Pap smear screening for females
  • Assessment of non-STD/HIV related health problems

Support Services for patients/clients:

  • Bus pass when necessary for after-visit transportation 
  • Baby room/child-friendly area for kids while you are seen
  • Medical excuse for school and/or work
  • Services at the Monroe County Children Center
  • Services at the Monroe County Jail
