oday, HIV remains an important LGBT health and human rights issue. The first Pride events were held in the 1970’s and have since become an annual civil rights demonstration, celebrating life and community. It is an opportunity to outreach to the community, to educate and promote PrEP and PEP. This 2-hour webinar will prepare participants to talk about, tweet about and post about PrEP and PEP before, during, and after Pride events across the state.

As a result of this training, participants will be able to:

  1. Learn about PrEP and how it works
  2. List reasons why gay men and trans people should know about PrEP
  3. Think about how to start a discussion about PrEP
  4. Learn about PEP and how it is different from PrEP
  5. Identify resources that are available to help you educate others about PrEP and PEP
